Light Afloat

Being afloat does not suggest movement toward a destination, but a delicate suspension between sinking and rising, between weight and lightness. It evokes the sensation of drifting weightlessly through darkness, within a space whose boundaries are difficult to gauge. Light appears as a quiet presence that does not dispel the darkness, but exists alongside it. From this encounter emerges a transitional space in which existence seeks no destination, but simply to be.
